It was our first church wedding ceremony which made it all the more exciting and the Reverend was very accommodating on where we could and couldn’t take the photographs. Hattie travelled by horse and carriage to St Johns church in Devizes with a police escort behind her. The ceremony at the church was very moving and the wedding photographs tell the story. We then took some photographs outside the beautiful church before they went off in the horse drawn carriage to the venue at Blount’s Court Farm, Devizes in Wiltshire which is a bed and breakfast run by her Aunty.
After a particularly soggy marquee first thing in the morning the weather didn’t disappoint and the marquee had pretty much dried out after the flooding. As they say ‘the show must go on’ and boy did it – it was an absolutely fabulous day and evening had by all.
We were lucky enough to get fed some lovely food and even had a drink after we had finished taking the photographs. We also had a good old chinwag with my old school friends’ which was a perfect end to a brilliant day.
Big thanks to Hattie and Paul for having us there for their wedding day – it was an absolute honour and we were delighted to hear that the wedding photographs were exactly what they wanted.
We would like to wish Hattie and Paul all the happiness in the world.
